The Future Fund

Since its inception twenty years ago, FOR-SITE has been dedicated to the creation, presentation, and understanding of Art About Place.

As FOR-SITE matures, the organization is eager to embrace a new chapter of financial resiliency. We are therefore thrilled to launch The Future Fund, allowing FOR-SITE to sustain its curatorial work and take advantage of opportunities for timely, topical exhibitions.

The Future Fund will support crucial aspects of our work, such as:

—Creating greater lead-time to generate large-scale projects, thus allowing us to confidently engage the most important artists working today.

—Providing a framework for curatorial research, project development, and the operational and logistical support needed for artists to realize their visions.

—Amplifying our work through collaborative public programs and educational opportunities, realized in partnership with the Bay Area’s leading cultural institutions.

With your help, The Future Fund will empower FOR-SITE to continue its mission of bringing groundbreaking art to the public, free of charge—as only we know how to do!
